Tier 1 and 2 Standards
The Hexion Corporate Environmental, Health, Safety and Management System is a global framework used to standardize processes for identification of EHS aspects and impacts, prioritize EHS objectives, engage all personnel in support of EHS objectives, and implement EHS Improvement Plans. Management System requirements are contained in Global Tier 1 and Tier 2 EHS Standards. Tier 1 Standards establish expectations for global systems such as training, auditing, and communications, which apply across all EHS technical disciplines. Tier 2 Standards include global requirements for the EHS disciplines (i.e. Safety, Health, Process Safety, Environment, Product Stewardship). Tier 3 documents are the site-specific procedures and other tools used to implement the Hexion Standards and assure regulatory compliance.
